Allegations: IN AUGUST 2014, THE REGISTRANT NOTIFIED THE SFSA OF NET SHORT POSITIONS IN THE SHARES OF A SWEDISH ISSUER. THAT NOTIFICATION WAS UNINTENTIONALLY MADE LATER THAN THE NEXT-DAY NOTIFICATION DEADLINE SPECIFIED IN REGULATION (EU) NO. 236/2012. Status: Final Sanction Detail: $2,364 WAS PAID BY THE REGISTRANT ON 08/31/2015 PURSUANT TO THE INVOICE ISSUED BY THE SFSA. NO PORTION OF THE PENALTY WAS WAIVED. Summary: ON 02/19/2015, THE SFSA SENT THE CLIENT CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESSING A POTENTIAL VIOLATION OF EUROPEAN UNION SHORT SELLING RULES FOR FAILING TO TIMELY REPORT A SHORT NET POSITION. THE REGISTRANT REPLIED ON BEHALF OF THE CLIENT, EXPLAINING THE NOTIFICATION WAS UNINTENTIONALLY MADE LATER THAN THE REQUIRED NEXT-DAY NOTIFICATION DEADLINE AS THE RESULT OF INADVERTENT ERROR AND A CANADIAN CIVIC HOLIDAY.
